Software runs like slug. Especially at startup. Worked fine until I upgraded. Took a network trace and ran some process level checks and photoshop has an extensive amount of spyway activity built into it. A lot of encypted network activity which is uneccessary and unthical for PC based app. How can I turn off the unthical spyway related network activity. Software should respond instantly when you run ultra high end hardware with masive amounts of ram.

That is precisely what happened. We paid for a product which included a Dolby decoding feature; then that feature was removed without compensation, proper notification, or ethical agreement.

Adobe's customer service is a joke. I love the way they blame other people for issues with there software and it's support for Dolby. For them it's not about providing upgrades; it about downgrades that save them money and installing spyware on your machine. I can't believe they will not let anyone reinstall the versions of there software that actually work. They need to own up and do the right thing.

I'm finding that Adobe Premiere Pro and some other Creative Cloud products are creating a substantial amount of unnecessary network traffic wasting network bandwidth, processor power, and memory. It is completely unacceptable that Adobe application services like CoreSync.exe, dynamiclinkmanger.exe, and Adobe Premiere Pro.exe continuously transmit and receive network traffic while I have Premiere Pro open. I even have all the cloud sync services turned off; not that having them on would be justification to continuously transmit encrypted data. This is similar to spyware or a virus. First and foremost, Adobe come clean; what they are transmitting? Secondly, how do I turn it off? The only acceptable traffic would be a very small file once a month to verify my subscription. It appears you are transmitting copies of everything I am working on to amazonaws and other internet destinations without my authorization. Has anyone else noticed this issue? What have you done to address it?

The unexpected removal of Windows 7 support and having to use things like handbrake. It's so unfortunate, so unnecessary. How did customer service get so far? I don't know.

None of this should be necessary. First and foremost, a downgrade should not be advertised as an upgrade; I'm referring to the latest version of 2017 that does nothing but remove the Dolby feature. Second, all previous versions should always be made available. Not doing so goes against promises made by Adobe when switching to the subscription service. Discontinuing perpetual licenses is an Adobe benefit, not a customer benefit; and this is yet more proof that Adobe doesn't care about customer service. You can have a profitable software company without giving up customer service; and without being evil by doing things that harm your customers. Apple is a perfect example; Adobe should take note.

Windows 7 is still supported by Microsoft and I often install patches through Windows Update. Some chipset vendors may decide not to provide new drivers but there are many very good chipsets with drivers available. I challenge you to prove that Adobe no longer including the SurCode for Dolby Digital decoding and encoding has something to do with Microsoft or the chipset and processor vendors. This is akin to not supporting Windows 7. All those promises about how great subscription service is compared to perpetual purchase, out the door Adobe. It’s not surprising to see a lot of others like myself upset about this. Windows 10 is very much disliked by a lot of power users because it is yet another bloated down operating system riddled with unnecessary software routines, services, and applications that waste your hardware processing power; not unlike many of the recent versions of Adobe products. This is yet another reason to seriously look at alternatives before making further investments in Adobe products. Windows 7 should have full support until Microsoft stops supporting it period.

Any idea when this CC bug is going to be fixed? I lost a project after days of work. In my case I opened it originally from a CS6 project. It actually happened twice the first time was after only a few edits and I thought it was a fluke; reopened it and started over. I've tried: Opening auto-saves Clearing cache. Whacking my profile. Opening within a new project. All without success. Everything was working fine until I closed the project and tried to reopen it. Seeing "The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements" is a nightmare. It's hard to believe, what looks like a widespread bug, is not resolved after 3 plus months. Isn't that the reason we pay a subscription for quick updates? Especially on what looks like a bug that should be marked critical.
